----歌詞意境時間 Time for some discussion -----

表面上很像是愛人跑走可惡他不愛我的歌, 但其實是歌詞中的「你」可解釋為「昨天的的自己」,以下引用youtube的王大大先生在這支youtube影片的評論,因為我無法解釋的比他精準了! 

「覺得這是一首對自己對話沈思的歌。 歌詞所提及到的『你』並非可惡的另一半，並非偷吃、或是偷看其他美女卻忘了對愛情說出愛的真理。 歌詞中的『你』，其實是自己，今天之前的自己。 最美的一句歌詞這樣唱著：『卻說不出你愛我的原因，卻說不出你欣賞我哪一種表情，卻說不出在什麼場合曾讓你動心！』 這句每聽到一次就好審問自己，自己愛自己哪裡？過去哪些地方曾讓自己感動的落淚？ 更想好好擁抱昨天的自己，『說不出離開的原因』 // 『原來離開我，才是你旅行最後的意義！』 原來放下昨天之前的自己，才能更完美的走下我們自己生命的新旅行」

我想不管綺貞是否是以這個為出發點寫出這首歌, 就像文學評論家曾提出的作者已死的概念, 只要作品出來就是open to interpretation, 讀者可以賦予它生命,而作者的原意似乎也不是最重要的了

This song seems like a sad song about her lover running away; however, if we see "you" as "the old me from yesterday" it would be complete different story! I translated a comment from a youtube commentor 王大大 (Wang Da Da) in this youtube video because I cannot explain it better myself! 

"This is a song about comtemplating with oneself. The "you" in the lyrics doesn't mean the unfaithful partner who forgets to speak out the truth of love because of the other beautiful girls he saw or any unfaithful deeds he did. "You" actually means the person him/her self = the you from yesterday. The most beautiful lyrics write "but you were unable to say the reason why you love me. but you were unable to state which expression of me you like. but you were unable to say in what occasion I made your heart skip a beat" When we listen to this part, we would ask ourselves questions like what do we like about ourselves? Where is the place we have been and we were moved to tears? and these questions make us want to embrace our old selves.  [The answer lies in] "Leaving me was your reason to leave" because when you let go of your old self, can you keep on moving to your new travels in your future life more perfectly. "

I don't know if Cheer means this when she wrote this song but like the idea of Death of the Auther says that when a piece of work was produced, it is open to interpretation by its reader. The original intention of this song doesn't seem to be the most important thing anymore.
